Hospital Visitation Policy

Mercy's Infection Prevention team has been monitoring flu activity in Oklahoma City . In consultation with John Harkess, M.D., infection control medical director, we are temporarily changing our hospital visitation policy. We are limiting visitation to our facility effective immediately.

Patients will be allowed to select two visitors at any given time who are essential to their well-being along with any clergy visits they may require. Visitation is closed to those under the age of 18 and those who are currently ill with flu-like symptoms. These limitations also apply to visitors of Mercy co-workers. This visitation policy does not impact the Tower, Plaza, McAuley or NeuroScience Institute physician offices.
