Fellowship

Dr. Brian Link is the first robotic fellowship trained urologist in the state of Oklahoma. He completed his fellowship in urologic oncology and robotic surgery at City of Hope National Medical Center in California. While at City of Hope, a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, Dr. Link performed more than 300 robotic surgeries.

Research Experience

• 2007 – 2008 Department of Urologic Oncology, City of Hope National Medical Center Performed clinical database research and published surgical outcomes following robotic surgery for prostate, bladder and kidney cancer.

• 2003 – 2004 Department of Urology, H.K. Lin, PhD, supervisor Performed investigations into upstream regulators of androgen receptor activation.

• 2001 – 2002 Department of Urology, H.K. Lin, PhD, supervisor Assisted with publication of potential genetic markers for interstitial cystitis identified from bladder biopsy specimens using microarray technology.

• 1995 – 1996 Department of Chemical Engineering, John O’Haver, PhD, supervisor Organized and conducted laboratory investigations in synthetic polymer resins.
